Net Heretic!!

Audience members were shocked and outraged after an illicit lecture by Peter Lamborn Wilson last night. The so-called lecture, entitled 'From Cyberspace to Neurospace,' was blatantly blasphemous as it questioned the supreme purity of Cyberspace. Wilson, a known cyber-heretic and possible luddite, apparently sneaked into the Next Five Minutes de Balie lecture hall in an attempt to defy the basic principle of this event and subject true believers to his heretical cult of the body. Wilson, who admitted to not knowing what irc means, accused Cyberspace of being no greater than any other religion, drawing parallels between the purifying transcendental experience of existing in Cyberspace to a mere ascension to Heaven. He also advocated various means of obtaining transcendental states that involve physical, embodied pleasure. Wilson's charade, which could lead to a mass luddite movement amoung the young and disadvantaged, is highly suspect. Miraculously, Saint John the Prophet arrived to confound the heretic with words of truth and salvation. While no criminal charges have yet been filed, this event will surely bring about new legislation within Cyberspace. Wilson is considered to be dangerous and parents are advised not to allow their children to learn about this incident.
