This is the first documentary about the Colombian hiphop movement. It was made with no budget, out of pure solidarity. 60% of it is stock footage shot between 1994 and 2000, the rest was shot from May to July 2000. This video is about hiphop in Colombia, and the difficulties that the youth faces after 40 years of war. Taking you from Bogota to Cali to Medellin, it depicts the history of its arrival in Colombia, the reasons it has been so strongly adopted by the Colombian youth and most importantly the beautiful positive movement that it has become. We made it as an underground attempt at breaking the communication blockade imposed on Colombia.
