"Façadisme" is a typical word from Brussels, the town where the EU institutions are trying to build a "European Capital". But Brussels is only an administrative capital for Europe. The way the buildings of the EU institutions are conceived is a mirror for the political construction of Europe: cold and crushing architecture, with no place for real life... even in decisions concerning the city itself, democracy is an illusion: in fact, the citizens are not included.
