TooBigHasFailed.org consists of a group of activists who think Wall Street could be better.
In
many ways we mirror the efforts of community banks and credit unions in
wanting to end "too big to fail." That is, we support the basic idea of
banking as it should be, but we oppose what Wall Street has become
today - with all of its political favoritism, excessive size, and
reckless speculation.
What's more, we believe that activist efforts can be a force for good in the world.

Damascus - Tuesday, 3 July 2012 - Today marks the launch of the #FREEBASSEL
campaign to bring about the release of Bassel Khartabil, known widely
on the Internet and in technology communities as Bassel Safadi. Bassel
is a resident of Damascus, Syria, a technology pioneer and respected
community leader. He is a loving family member and friend to countless
people at home and around the world. He has been detained since March
15, 2012, without trial. Today the campaign learned Bassel is being held
at security detention branch 291 in Kafer Sousa, a facility that was
uncovered in the recent Human Rights Watch report "Syria: Torture
Centers Revealed."
UK Uncut is a grassroots movement taking action to highlight alternatives to the government's spending cuts.
Activists involved in the Indignato, Occupy, #yosoy132, etc movements have begun a campaign to create GlobalNoise, a worldwide cacerolazo, or casserole march, on Saturday, October 13th, 2012. The hope is that local Occupations and Collectives will take up the call to march, using the method of a casserole march to highlight whatever issues are the most important to their community.

Pride 2012: The Struggle for Sexual and Gender Justice Continues
This summer, communities across the world will celebrate Pride Festivals
commemorating the birth and victories of the Gay and Trans Liberation
Movements. Despite the profound social change these movements have
accomplished since the first high-heels were thrown over the barricades
at Compton's Cafeteria and the Stonewall Inn, it is clear that the
struggle for queer, trans, and gender-variant liberation is far from
finished.
It is time to break the silence!
ArtLeaks is collective platform initiated by an international group of
artists, curators, art historians and intellectuals in response to the
abuse of their professional integrity and the open infraction of their
labor rights. In the art world, such abuses usually disappear, but some
events bring them into sharp focus and therefore deserve public
scrutiny. Only by drawing attention to concrete abuses can we
underscore the precarious condition of cultural workers and the
necessity for sustained protest against the appropriation of politically
engaged art, culture and theory by institutions embedded in a tight
mesh of capital and power.

Khaled died, but many Egyptians have become alive where his picture has now become the symbol of Egyptians' struggle for their rights and freedom."
